Who Am I?
I decided to write this blog to connect with young black ladies that may need somewhere positive to turn. My students always feel comfortable opening up to me and asking for advice. I wanted to have a place where I could share that same advice with other young women that may not hear it anywhere else. My advice is from my experiences in life, love, school, friends, etc. and my passion for the advancement of young woman, like yourself.
What you will find on BlackWomanToBlackGirl is advice and tips on sexuality, relationships and dating, the history of black women, literature to read, forming an identity, maintaining friendships, body image, resume building, college/career/trade school readiness, and much more.
You can expect to read short stories, and poems written just for you! Keep reading loves!!
You can email me directly to get personal advice on events and situations in your life. I may even post it on my blog (of course your identity will be withheld from the public), if I think it will help other young women. There are two ways to do this: 1. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org 2. Use the contact form to get in touch with me. I look forward to hearing from you!
